Elizabeth Humann attended the Ave Maria School of Law, where she graduated first in her class. While in law school, she served as President of the Criminal Law society and as the Vice President of Publications for the Moot Court Board.
She interned with the Public Defender’s Office for the Twentieth Judicial Circuit as well as for the Honorable John Steele of the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida.
Prior to attending law school, Elizabeth was a law enforcement officer serving both as a state probation officer in Broward County and later as a deputy sheriff in Collier County.
She also earned a Master’s Degree in Forensic Science from George Washington University. These experiences have given her a unique perspective when reviewing criminal cases.
Elizabeth is originally from Connecticut but is a longtime resident of Naples. She enjoys boating and water skiing.
Her husband, Thom, owns Florida Confidential Investigations, L.L.C., a local private investigation company that frequently collaborates with the firm in providing investigative services to clients. They have a son, Kyler.
